Hello! I'm Eden Andersen, a midwestern digital illustrator and multi-media artist focused on work inspired by nature and fantasy. Little Bug Illustration was started in 2023 when I opened an Etsy shop to sell stickers, art prints, magnets and greeting cards. I have since showcased at local art shows such as the Sherman Hill Halloween Art Show and I have delved into the world of surface pattern design with my Spoonflower shop.

Since childhood, I have been captured by the mystery and beauty of the natural world. Growing up as a daydreaming, curious girl in the midwestern countryside with acres of land to roam, I regarded the native flora and fauna as close friends. Just as I found the world around me to be magical and mysterious, it was only natural that I was also drawn to fantasy worlds and the creatures that inhabited them. I spent most days lost in a book with themes of dragons, fairies, knights and witches. This reverence for nature and storytelling has carried into adulthood. Fantasy, folk tales and fairy tales allow us to explore and reflect on themes of the human experience  - for this, my love of storytelling has been essential to my growth as a person. Through my art, I hope to reflect this love and offer a space for those who are drawn to all things fantastic, dark and strange.
